Hive Learning is proud to be the official D&I sponsor of the upcoming Business Culture Awards on 14 November 2019 in London.
According to research by Deloitte, “Even when there is high diversity and low inclusion, or low diversity and high inclusion, the business outcomes are never as impressive as the high diversity and high inclusion combination.”
At Hive Learning, our focus has always been on helping organisations adopt the behaviours critical for growth. Back in 2017, we launched Inclusion Works — a digital inclusion toolkit that empowers every person in every organisation to be more inclusive every day.
As we built the toolkit, we spoke with 100s of diversity and inclusion leaders who shared their learnings and insights on what it takes to build a more inclusive culture. We quickly realised this brilliant insight needed to be shared far and wide so that we could help everyone working in the D&I space make progress faster.
At the beginning of 2019, we launched the Inclusion Works podcast — a series of interviews with the movers, shakers and changemakers shaping the inclusion debate focused on sharing practical and actionable insight. To date, over 4,000 people have listened to our interviews with the likes of Salesforce CEO UK&Ire Jayne Ann Gahdia and Aubrey Blanche, Head of Diversity & Belonging at Atlassian.
This month, we’re taking things up a notch. Later in November, we’ll be launching a digital community on Hive Learning for inclusion leaders to access exclusive insight from culture visionaries, share insight, and troubleshoot ideas.
We love the ethos behind the Business Culture Awards and their commitment to sharing winners’ learnings across the year at their Business Culture Club events, which mirrors our belief in tapping into the power of our peers to share insight and ideas so that we can all go faster.
That’s why we’re so excited to present the award for Best Diversity and Inclusion Initiative for Business Culture at the Business Culture Awards this year. The award aims to recognise organisations who place D&I at the heart of their organisational culture with a proven journey of transformation and positive impact.
According to the Business Culture Awards, “Submissions will show how diversity and inclusion have progressed at a cultural level, rather than a procedural one. Judges will be looking to understand how this focus on diversity and inclusion has been enacted, and how it has resulted in a reinvigorated organisational culture that has the renewed confidence of employees and other stakeholders.”
Our very own Fiona Young, Content Director, Director of Diversity & Inclusion Practice and host of the Inclusion Works podcast, will present the award.
