London, 22nd November 2018: Halma plc, a global group of life-saving technology companies, and digital partner, Hive Learning, have been awarded ‘Best use of social and collaborative technologies’ at the 2018 Learning Technologies Awards for their work on HalmaHub – the group’s mobile-first, social learning experience, which has accelerated the pace of innovation across the group.
As part of its emerging growth strategy, Halma recognised the opportunity to amplify the ambition and impact of its companies by creating a culture of shared learning across their over 40 diverse and geographically dispersed technology businesses.
So Halma partnered with Hive Learning to create a mobile-first, social learning experience in HalmaHub – one of seven core growth enablers contributing to record profit and growth in 2018.
Today is the first anniversary of the launch, and in that time, over 80% of Halma’s connected employees across 19 countries regularly access HalmaHub to share knowledge, skills and ideas every day. This has led to the creation of entirely new business models, product collaborations, and accelerated the pace of change across the group.
Of the partnership, the Learning Technologies Awards judges commented:
