Hive Learning win ‘Best Learning Initiative for Business Culture’ at the Business Culture Awards

London, 15th November 2019: Hive Learning was recognised alongside a major client for their work in unleashing the power of digital social learning within the banking sector to empower change at the 2019 Business Culture Awards last night.

Hive Learning and their banking client won the award for successfully transforming their culture from one where collaboration and sharing wasn’t the norm to a culture where proactive learning and collaboration became part of daily routine for 95% of learners.

The Business Culture Awards said of the award for ‘Best Learning Initiative’:

“Effective learning has the capacity to inspire individuals to do their best work and can have a transformative effect on the organisation as a whole. Entrants in this category will be able to show how their organisations have progressed learning at a cultural level, not a procedural one, and the business benefits that have arisen as a direct result.”

The judges said of the entry:

“A blended learning approach to embed learning through on-going prompts from facilitators and self-generated content. A refreshing approach that develops skills and changes behaviours which have more lasting feedback.”

“A really nice partnership with effective results and a strong focus on UX which just goes to show transformation is possible even in the most traditional environments with the right (growth) mindset.”

“This is a well thought out learning program, with clear metrics and objectives and a creative approach to building collaboration and measuring the effectiveness of the program.  I also love how this clearly ties to the behaviours they want to foster in their culture.”
