Creating leaders fit for the new world of work — the state of leadership development in 2020

2020 has thrown leadership into a state of flux.

Employers are suddenly being asked to manage the mental health of their employees, tackle personal burnout, manage a remote workforce, build psychological safety, foster inclusion, operate with agility, and bring their teams with them on the journey.

And while some organizations have rushed to support their leaders through these uncertain times, others have cancelled or postponed leadership development programs altogether.

So we’re setting out to answer to do two things:

1. Define the makeup of 2020’s most impactful leaders and managers. What are the skills, mindsets, and behaviors they need to lead our organizations through these uncertain times and far beyond?

2. Capture the most innovative leadership development strategies forward-thinking people leaders are using to build capability right now

We’ll play back the answers in an action-oriented pulse report.
